Editorial research. Profiled through in-depth editorial research; Browntravels has not yet stayed at this property. How we review
A glass tower on the Swan River at Burswood with lagoon pools, big-hotel polish and skyline views back across the water to Perth.
Crown Towers is Perth doing scale, and doing it well. Opened in 2016 as the flagship of the Burswood entertainment precinct, the tower rises beside the Swan River with around 500 rooms angled towards the water and the city skyline beyond. The interiors run to marble, chandeliers and double-height glass—unashamedly glamorous rather than understated, and all the more popular locally for it.
The resort grounds are the real differentiator for an Australian city hotel: a chain of lagoon-style pools with cabanas and swim-up access sprawls between the tower and the river, giving families and weekenders a genuine resort day without leaving the city. Optus Stadium sits directly across the Matagarup Bridge, which makes the hotel a natural base for big fixtures and concerts, and the wider Crown complex supplies a long roster of restaurants and bars, including outposts of well-known international names.
Rooms are large, contemporary and quietly done given the glitz downstairs, with floor-to-ceiling windows that make the river-and-skyline outlook the main event. The Crown Spa adds a substantial treatment menu and vitality pools. It is not an intimate hotel and does not pretend to be; as a polished, amenity-rich riverfront resort ten minutes from the CBD, it has no local rival at this scale.
Around 500 rooms, suites and villas over a high-rise tower, with marble bathrooms, deep window seats and river or city outlooks.
A wide spread across the Crown precinct, from grill rooms and modern Asian dining to casual terraces and cocktail bars.
The Crown Spa with vitality pools and an extensive treatment list, a large gym, and the lagoon pool complex with private cabanas.
The Browntravels Verdict
Perth's big-statement resort hotel—choose it for pools, views and stadium proximity rather than boutique intimacy.
