Hôtel Martinez

The Martinez rose in 1929 as one of the largest and most modern hotels on the coast, and its long white Art Deco façade still defines the eastern sweep of La Croisette. Under the Hyatt-affiliated Unbound Collection, successive renovations have leaned into that Deco inheritance—geometric detailing, warm woods, Riviera pastels—while keeping the slightly glamorous swagger that makes the hotel a festival favourite.

Rooms climb from crisp doubles to the celebrated penthouse suites with vast terraces over the bay; sea-view balconies here offer some of the best Croisette panoramas anywhere. Down at water level, the hotel's Zplage beach club runs long lunches and lounger service through the season, one of the most animated private beaches in town.
