Cheval Blanc St-Tropez occupies the site of the old Résidence de la Pinède, a whitewashed house under century-old umbrella pines at the edge of town, with its own sliver of private beach facing the Bay of Saint-Tropez. LVMH's transformation kept the intimate scale—around 30 rooms—and layered on the maison's couture polish: nautical whites and blues, custom furniture and a level of personal service that treats each stay as a bespoke commission.

The property's quiet genius is its position: the buzz of the port and the Place des Lices lies a short walk along the water, yet the pine-shaded terraces feel entirely removed from the summer circus. A seafront pool and beach service handle the days; the town's boutiques and nightlife are there when wanted, never imposed.

Dinner is the crescendo. Arnaud Donckele's La Vague d'Or holds three Michelin stars for a deeply personal Provençal cuisine built on sauces of extraordinary refinement, served under the pines as the bay turns gold. With a Guerlain spa and Dior-partnered treatments completing the picture, this is the most polished address on the peninsula by some distance.
