La Villa crowns a hillside above Calvi on Corsica's northwest coast, its whitewashed buildings arranged around courtyards inspired by the neighbouring former convent, with the town's Genoese citadel and the great sweep of the bay laid out below. Pines, olives and bougainvillea frame a series of terraces where several pools step down the slope towards the view.
Rooms, suites and villas are bright and Mediterranean in spirit—pale stone, timber and linen—most with terraces or balconies facing the sea; private-pool villas suit longer stays.
