The Park Hyatt occupies the most contemplative site on St Kitts: Banana Bay, at the end of the island's mountainous southeast peninsula, where the land runs out into The Narrows and the view is filled entirely by the volcanic cone of Nevis two miles across the water. The resort, opened in 2017 within the Christophe Harbour estate, treats that view as its organising principle—courtyards, colonnades and rooflines frame Nevis Peak at every turn.

The architecture is the most sophisticated in the federation: a contemporary reading of colonial and sugar-mill forms in stone, timber and white render, arranged around a series of courtyards inspired by the island's plantation heritage, with interiors of quiet luxury—limestone, rattan, muted linens—that let the seascape lead. Rooms are large, many with plunge pools or deep terraces towards the strait.

The rampart-style adult pool above the beach, the Miraval-affiliated spa with its lantern-lit hammam ritual, and dining that runs from Kittitian-influenced fine dining at the Great House to wood-fired beachside tables complete a resort pitched at couples, though families are handled graciously. The peninsula's wild green hills, Salt Plage's sunset bar and catamaran runs to Nevis supply excursions.
