Doha, Qatar — Middle East
Editorial research. Profiled through in-depth editorial research; Browntravels has not yet stayed at this property. How we review
An all-suite statement inside one of Doha's crescent-shaped Katara Towers, where futuristic Qatari design meets Raffles butler tradition.
Raffles Doha occupies one blade of the Katara Towers, the scimitar-inspired landmark that anchors Lusail's waterfront skyline. The building alone justifies the visit: a sweeping crescent of glass whose curve is echoed inside by arcing corridors, sculptural staircases and a palette of deep blues, pearl and brushed gold that nods to Qatar's maritime past without pastiche.
Every key is a suite, and even entry-level accommodation is vast, with separate living rooms, dressing areas, marble bathrooms and views over the marina or Gulf. Raffles' signature butlers—here styled as personal concierges—handle everything from unpacking to restaurant strategy, giving the hotel a level of personal service that Doha's newer towers rarely match.
The public spaces reward exploration: a mirrored patisserie, a library bar of genuine atmosphere, and restaurants running from Mediterranean fine dining to late-night lounges with skyline panoramas. A serene spa and indoor-outdoor pools complete the offer. It suits stopover travellers, business guests and anyone curious to see Gulf hospitality's most theatrical new chapter done with real finesse.
132 suites, all generously scaled with living rooms, walk-in wardrobes and floor-to-ceiling views of the Gulf or Lusail marina.
A constellation of venues including Mediterranean fine dining, a glamorous patisserie, and destination bars with panoramic skyline views.
A tranquil spa with hammam-style thermal facilities, an indoor pool and a state-of-the-art gym overlooking the water.
The Browntravels Verdict
Doha's most striking hotel interior and its most attentive suite service—ideal for a high-style stopover or a design-focused city break.
